Nigeria’s economy expanded by 3.98 percent year on year in the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, according to new data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). The pace is faster than the 3.86 percent recorded in the same quarter of 2024, though slower than the 4.3 percent growth posted in the second quarter Q2 2025.
