An informal post-graduation retraining culture is currently rising across Nigeria. Faced with limited employment opportunities, young Nigerians, after graduating from university and other tertiary institutions, and the mandatory NYSC, now seek practical training in areas like fashion designing, software development, artificial intelligence, solar installation, agriculture, digital marketing, and several other income-generating skills, all in search of economic survival and stability. While some eventually secure remote jobs, build startups, establish farms, or create businesses that employ others, many never get such opportunities because training costs money and economic mobility remains uneven.
