Listed Nigerian plantation giants, Presco and Okomu, have been propelled by favourable global winds and local expansion to ride a wave of earnings surge. The two leading palm oil producers defied volatile commodity markets and domestic economic pressures in 2025 to post revenues approximating ₦529 billion, up over 60 per cent year-on-year, and almost double net profits to around ₦202 billion versus the 2024. Their performance depicts the sector’s capacity to withstand shocks.
