Africa’s economies face significant challenges, with many currencies struggling against the strong US dollar. Nigeria’s naira has been hit the hardest, losing 104.36% of its value, rising from 758 NGN to 1,549.18 NGN per dollar in just a year. Malawi’s kwacha followed closely, dropping by 66.83%, while Rwanda’s franc and the Congolese franc experienced declines of 19.41% and 16.65%, respectively.
