The proposed appropriation bill allocated a total of N2.493 trillion to five regional development commissions, excluding the North Central Region.

Cascading the allocation, N585.9 billion for the North West Development Commission (NWDC), N498.4 billion for the South West Development Commission (SWDC), N341.2 billion for the South East Development Commission (SEDC) and N291billion for the North East Development Commission (NEDC).

It is worth noting that the allocation is part of the total budgetary allocation of N49.7 trillion appropriation bill themed 'Budget of Restoration' which is now at the deliberation stage by the National Assembly.
